BuildIt for the Children – 2008 Charity House Auction

Poudre Heights Subdivision - Windsor, CO
1772 Dolores River Court
Each year Collins Custom Builders gathers professional subcontractors and suppliers from all over the Northern Colorado area to build a high quality custom home with discounted and donated materials and labor. The house is then displayed during the Parade of Homes and sold by silent auction at the close of the Parade. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this home are donated to the Larimer County Child Advocacy Center and A Kid’s Place of Greeley. Please join us in our efforts and excitement with building this home! You can watch the progress with new photos that will be added weekly and vote on different amenities to the home each week as well!

Thank you Northern Colorado for helping us raise $182,000.00 with the 2007 “Build It for the Children” charity home project. This brings the total raised so far to over $370,000! Please support the fine sponsors of this project by visiting our Sponsors page and, whenever possible, using their products and services. They are fine, community oriented companies that deserve your support!

The mission of the Child Advocacy Centers is to provide advocacy, support and reduce the trauma to abused or neglected children through a child-friendly setting for forensic interviews and the coordination of victim services. Statistics show that 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 6 boys under the age of 18 will be victims of child abuse at some point in their life. When those children and their families need help, you can be there for them.

Each week we will list a new item for the public to vote on as we complete the house. Your votes decide the final design. Sign up for our email reminders and we’ll send you an email each week reminding you to vote.
